As I write this, the sun has just disappeared behind my neighbor’s hill. Bare and silhouetted trees stand still on the ridge like the edge of a wooly sweater.

I’ve spent the afternoon in the apothecary sipping pine needle tea, listening to Scandinavian Christmas songs, and pouring the last of the tinctures. My new medicine-making table is an old wooden one left behind by the last person who lived in this house: a 90 year old herbalist who, judging by the dark rings left on the wood (that just so happen to be the exact size of a 16 oz amber bottle), may have used it to make medicine herself.

Finally, after months of steeping and a cross-country move, my online shop is open! All the teas and tinctures have been restocked, Fire Cider and Elderberry Elixir will be added next week. I’m so looking forward to sharing the herbs with you! Especially this year—I think this might be my best batch of tincture yet.

For most of us, the last 8 months have been stressful, the last few weeks even more so. Modern Earthling was formulated for times exactly like these.
