Hormones of the Menstrual Cycle

  • Hedge Meadow Herbs 140 South Winsted Street Spring Green, WI, 53588 United States (map)

The menstrual cycle doesn't have to be a mystery! Join Ashley Hartman Annis to learn all about the 4 main hormones of the menstrual cycle (FSH, estrogen, LH, and progesterone). We'll discuss why these hormones are important for reproductive / overall health, how to track these hormones in your own body (if you have a cycle!), and how to connect our menstrual cycles to other cycles in our world. You deserve to know how your beautiful & wise body works. This workshop is gender inclusive (all bodies welcome!), trauma informed, and will have space for conversation & story-sharing. Mini zine included!

This class is for you if... You have a uterus or care about someone who has a uterus. You feel confused about your cycle and don't know where to start. You want to get pregnant and don't know anything about ovulation. You're curious about cycle tracking as a birth control method and want to start with the basics. You're heading towards perimenopause and want to feel more informed. You have a pre-teen at home and you want to be able to teach them more about their cycle.

This class is not for you if... you're looking for a specific diagnosis related to your hormonal health, or you're hoping to learn the complete fertility awareness method for birth control in this 2-hour class.
