Bathhouses and sauna bathing are on the rise in the United States, sure, but public bathing practices have been around in many parts of the world for centuries. Part hygienic, part social, and part spiritual, communal bathing forges connection with others and offers a unique ability to slow down.

Please join Kindled Community Sauna and Corvus Beauty at Hedge Meadow on Thursday, September 25th, from 5-8pm for SAUNA BATHING.

Move through the thermic cycle of hot, cold, rest, and rehydrate at your own pace. Get your hair washed with one of Corvus Beauty’s ethically and locally sourced shampoo bars (think amber, citrine, emerald…), soak in the herbal and salt infused tubs, wash your skin, rinse off. Wash someone else if you and they so choose.

In addition to Kindled’s community sauna, Corvus Beauty will be set up outside on the patio and offering a range of botanical bath items for sale, and Hedge Meadow will be offering a selection of herbal beverages for purchase. You’re welcome to hang out in the cafe between rounds and the shop will be open to enjoy.
