Join Rachael Gonzalez (FAMILIAR) on a crisp October evening for a witchy craft circle! Hand brooms are versatile and useful tools for the hearth and home, as well as for ritual use. Learn about how to grow and cure broomcorn and the basics of weaving a broom in the style and color of your choice, as we discuss lore and care of traditional brooms. This will be a fun and creative way to welcome Halloween, and you will leave with an heirloom broom that will serve you for years to come.
This class is for you if… broom making can be messy, and requires patience and a calm approach, you must be able to sit for a couple of hours bent over doing tedious work without pain.
This class is not for you if… you struggle with crafting or lack some basic knife skills and patience. This will primarily be a hands-on class.
