Full Moon Community Cauldron & Ritual Show n Tell!

  • Hedge Meadow Herbs + Apothecary 25 Brodhead Street Mazomanie, WI, 53560 United States (map)

into the black petals, / into the fire, / into the night where time lies shattered, into the body of another. - Mary Oliver

Join us for a full moon circle and get-together! With the full moon in Scorpio as our muse, this loosely facilitated evening is intended to provide space for folks to come together and get to know one another. We're calling it a "ritual show n tell" because this is a participatory evening: you're invited to share something with the group!

Is there a particular way you like to connect with the moon or seasons? Tell us about it! Is there a poem you love, maybe one that invokes the moon? Read it aloud! Maybe you like to cook with seasonal wild plants—bring a recipe to share or even a dish to pass. You could pull a tarot card for the group, teach us about astrology, or lead us through a guided meditation. Bring seeds, bring art, bring medicine, bring a story, bring treats, or just bring yourself and an open heart and mind, and together we'll fill the community cauldron with seasonal goodness and lunar inspiration.

We've set aside 90 minutes for this event but in reality we can't predict how long the evening will last, and there's a chance it will end early. There will for sure be a mystery tea tasting led by Clare, and some time for written reflection led by Rebecca, but the rest depends on you! If you would like to share with the group (and you’re encouraged to do so!), please bring whatever materials you need and plan to take no longer than 5 minutes.

This is a free event, but space is limited and you do need to register ahead of time. We're looking forward to getting moony with you!
